CardMules started with a pretty simple idea.

Brandy and I wanted to create the kind of card shop we would want to walk into — a place where everyone felt welcome. It shouldn’t matter what you collect, how much you know, how much you spend, or whether you’ve been in the hobby for thirty years or thirty minutes. If you love the hobby, there should be a place for you here.

From the beginning, we wanted CardMules to be built around community and customer service first. Cards may be what bring people through the door, but the people are what make the shop matter.

We’ve also been incredibly fortunate to build a team of employees we genuinely believe are the best on the planet. They care about our customers, they care about the hobby, and they’ve helped turn CardMules into something much bigger than Brandy and I could have created by ourselves.

But we’re not finished.

Our goal is for CardMules to become more than a place where people buy and sell cards. We want it to become a real part of our community — somewhere people come to play, collect, laugh, compete, learn, and spend time together.

And maybe most importantly, we want it to be a place for kids.

The hobby gives kids an opportunity to get away from screens, sit across a table from someone, learn how to win and lose, make trades, have conversations, build friendships, and become part of something. If CardMules can help create more of those experiences, then we’re building something far more valuable than a card shop.

We don’t know exactly what CardMules will become as we continue to grow.

That’s part of the fun.

We just know where we’re headed: more community, better experiences, great customer service, and a place where everyone who loves this hobby feels like they belong.

Because hopefully, somewhere along the way, we can make this hobby about a whole lot more than cards.
